Restorative Discipline encourages belonging over exclusion and meaningful accountability over punishment.  In order for a school to take a restorative approach to resolve conflict and repair harm, they need a fair and safe process to follow that is predictable for all students and staff in the school. Those who have been hurt need to know that they will have the opportunity to communicate the impact of the harm while those responsible need to feel safe acknowledging the impact and take steps to put it right.  This guide outlines the steps for a trained Restorative Practices staff member to prepare for a structured restorative conversation to address an incident of harm at school.

The materials look really good and reinforce the importance of the planning phase of a restorative conference. I will certainly use in the future.
