Hi, I'm Laura Mooiman.
I've spent my career helping schools solve the same problems you're facing: challenging student behavior, overwhelmed staff, inconsistent discipline, and school leaders who feel like everything eventually lands on their desks.
I'm a school social worker and education consultant and the creator of Restorative PBIS™, an approach that brings restorative practices and PBIS together into one practical schoolwide system.
I've worked with schools and districts across the U.S. and internationally, helping educators move beyond disconnected behavior initiatives and build systems that are predictable, relational, and sustainable.

A Note From Laura...
I spent 12 years as a school social worker before becoming a PBIS and restorative practices coach — and later a district administrator.
I’ve supported schools from the inside: sitting with students in crisis, coaching staff, and working alongside principals navigating the daily realities of leading a building.
One thing I’ve learned is this:
One of the fastest ways to shift school culture is to change how common areas are supervised.
I’ve seen it happen again and again. When supervision becomes proactive, positive, and restorative, many problems never even get a chance to start.
