POSITIVE BEHAVIOR INTERVENTIONS & SUPPORTS (PBIS)
SWIS is a reliable, confidential, web-based information system to collect, summarize, and use student behavior data for decision making. SWIS provides school personnel with the information they need to be successful decision makers. In order to have this program you must be trained by a registered SWIS Facilitator.Laura Mooiman has been a trained SWIS Facilitator since 2010.
Improve school culture with Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), a proactive approach to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture needed for all students in a school to achieve social, emotional and academic success.
Reduce bullying and improve student behavior using PBIS along with Social Emotional Learning (SEL). While PBIS makes a school inhospitable to bullying behavior, Social Emotional Learning teaches student those higher order thinking skills like empathy, problem solving, and emotion management.
